ABOUT WALT

A little about Walt...

Representing House District 69 for the last 2 terms has been a privilege. Getting to know the people, hear more about the communities, and seeing the common desires we share ignites my "why". Why I want to run for Senate District 35 (which combines HD 69 and HD 70) is to keep this a great place and preserve our values!

I'm the 4th Walter Sales as well as the 4th generation on the Sales Ranch. I graduated from Manhattan High in '78 before attending MSU. I married my bride LaRae (Thompson) in '81 starting our life together on the ranch.

LIFE..."It's a beautiful choice", with that our family grows along with the many blessings.

Melissa and Travis Stuber and their children, Caden and Abby, are back running the family ranch in addition to a neighboring potato farm. They are the 5th and 6th generation on the homestead and are proud to continue the tradition.

Wally is at home in Texas after serving our country with the Marines. He is currently attending school to become a physical therapist. On the side he smokes a mean pork roast and prime rib!

Conni and John Mahoney, along with their sweet little Hazel Grace, live in Colorado. They are living their dream job and Conni has picked up photographing their dream world. Beautiful!...and they may be doing some fishing too.

Life is transitioning for LaRae and I, but we are still active on the ranch and in the community AND WE ARE VERY THANKFUL! I have considered it a privilege to represent House District 69 for two terms while carrying on my family tradition in providing for future generations in keeping Montana the great place that it is.
